When using a PC controller which is connected to the sound masking network full time, Privacy Manager provides contact closure sensing to trigger various system functions. The most common usage is to mute the sound masking system when contact closure is provided by the fire alarm control panel. This is the most thorough method as it will mute all generators included in the central DS3002/DS3008 as well as generators residing in the DS8000s
