The Shure SLX2/BETA58 transmitter is designed to work with the SLX series wireless systems. Modification Power is provided using two batteries or AA-size batteries for up to 8 hours of continuous operation, depending on the battery. The range of reliable transmission in line of sight is up to 100 meters. The Shure SLX2/BETA58 wireless handheld transmitter comes with a dynamic supercardioid capsule, borrowed from the famous BETA58 microphone. The supercardioid polar pattern provides good gain before feedback, and its uniform pattern provides excellent audio capture in a narrow area.
Ideal for both live use and studio recording, the microphone's frequency response is perfect for front vocals, while the boosted mids and low bass levels help with performances. A neodymium magnet improves signal-to-noise performance, and the transmitter's rugged design with proven anti-shock system and hardened steel grille will withstand the rigors of touring life and live use.
