CS-802D is a scaler and converter of VGA, DVI-D, mini-DisplayPort signals along with analog stereo and digital S/PDIF to HDMI 1080p/60 signal. In addition to processing the video signal, it captures sound from one of the audio inputs and embeds it into the HDMI output signal, and also supplies it to additional audio outputs (miniJack 3.5 mm, TOSLINK). Supports component video signal resolutions up to 1080p, DVI and DisplayPort up to 2560x1600, computer graphics signal up to 1920x1080/60.
- Input resolutions: DVI Dual Link and DisplayPort up to 2560x1600 at 60 Hz (RB), computer graphics up to 1920x1080, 60 Hz and component video up to 1080p, 50/60 Hz
- Bi-directional digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital conversion - de-embeds and embeds audio signals, has analog audio stereo input and output
- Additional output and TOSLINK digital audio output
- The VGA input can work as a component video input , which requires a 15-pin D-Sub D15 (male) adapter "tulip" RCA (socket)
- Control: using buttons on the device body, using an IR remote control and via the RS-232 interface
