The Shure SV100-A is a cost-effective handheld microphone designed for everyday use in live sound, karaoke performances, presentations, recording, and similar vocal applications. This version of the microphone includes an XLR to 1/4" connecting cable, mic clip, and zippered carrying pouch. The mic's dynamic capsule is less sensitive than a condenser, making it well suited for use on stage, while its cardioid pickup pattern focuses audio capture on the subject, helping to reduce feedback when sound reinforcement equipment is deployed.
The microphone features a durable metal build and requires no power to operate. An On/Off switch allows users to quickly mute the mic. The SV100-A has an XLR output and the supplied 15' XLR to 1/4" cable allows you to plug the mic into a wide range of audio gear including mixers, PA speakers, audio interfaces, and more.
